White Hyacinths
If I had but two loaves of bread, I would sell one of them and buy white hyacinths to feed my soul.
I had to laugh when I saw you tweet about this, because my white hyacinths are choking me at the moment! Way too sweet! But if I put them far away from me in the house, they smell just about right. They do have the look, though, just beautiful. I was blogging about this here this evening -- wanted to put up a couple more pictures of the hyacinths but settled on just one. http://www.stopwatchgardener.com/unbearable-sweetness-hyacinths/
